Overview
Brief
Design a container for plants using contrasting materials and design details.
Approach
Conducted user interview with local garden manager to learn about plant pots. Pivoted to aquaponics and symbiotic relationships with fish. Designed with key contrasting ideas in mind:
Geometric VS Organic
Natural VS Artificial
Levitation VS Sitting
Outcome
Symbi is an elegant and artful home for your fish. Inspired by deep sea coral, your fish's home floats in cold bent stainless steel rod. Symbi's side cup is the perfect vacation spot when the home needs cleaning. Plants such as fresh lettuce or basil create a symbiotic environment in which fish waste provides all the right nutrients for healthy plant growth. Enhance your home with Symbi.
